As of my training data, the most expensive dog in the world is a Tibetan
Mastiff named "Big Splash," which was sold for $1.9 million in 2014. This
breed is known for its large size and loyalty, and has been highly valued in
China and other parts of Asia for centuries. However, it's worth noting that
the high cost of this and other dogs is largely driven by luxury market
dynamics and may not reflect their true worth or value as pets.
